Mom Favorites

Here are a few items I love and currently use in my nightly routine. Which, by the way, your kids have a bedtime routine but do you?

I find it’s really important that parents have some sort of “wind down” routine at night before bed. No matter your child’s age, it’s important to make time for yourself before bed. Even if you aren’t lighting candles by a bubble bath… you should at least have a little routine in place that preps you for a good night’s sleep.

Because when you have a petite sleeper… everyone gets sleep!

Pottery Barn Robe & Slipper Set: You might not know this about me yet, but I LOVE all things fur (and leopard print.) There is nothing better than putting my kid to bed and slipping on this super soft, super furry robe and slippers. Coupled with a few of the items below – I’ve got the ultimate night of relaxation. Best of all, you can throw the slippers in the wash to keep them clean and fresh!

Yeti: I wish I could tell you HOW many Yeti ramblers we have in my house… but let’s just say an entire cabinet is full of them. I’m talking every color of the 20oz rambler alone. And at least one color of each of the other mugs. We’re Yeti obsessed. My husband and I each take TWO a day with us to work. One for coffee, one for water. In fact, I don’t even use glass drink ware at home anymore! I just reach for a Yeti.

Tea: Put your Yeti down and get yourself a super cute mug. Then fill it up with this delicious tea. Just… not too close to bedtime or you’ll be up peeing. I love this tea. I had it at a spa one time and was instantly hooked.

Silk Eye Mask: I bought one of these on Amazon because my husband likes to watch TV or check sports stats on his phone before bed. I can sleep with the light, but why? I slip this baby on and I am long gone to dreamland. So far, it hasn’t creased my hair or irritated me.

Face Mask: ANY face mask will do, but preferably something that brightens and hydrates for me! I actually love these face masks from Face Reality Skincare line. The clay mask and the Brighten-C mask specifically. If you are suffering from breakouts from pregnancy, postpartum or in general, I would invest in a few of their acne-safe products!

Blanket: Anything soft (especially fur) and leopard… what could be better? This blanket is SO cozy. You can find me wrapped in this blanket on my couch summer, spring, winter or fall. The cheer cozy factor does it for me.

Dark Chocolate Coconut Almonds: Have you had these from Trader Joe’s? They are my latest discovery and they are BOMB. I love ALL things coconut. And these feel like a real indulgence. I think I could eat half the box in one sitting. If you’re looking for something new to try, I highly recommend. They’re also small enough you can grab 1 or 2 and be completely satisfied. *I also LOVE the TJ’s Dark Chocolate Sunflower Butter cups!

Cheers mamas! We all deserve a little luxury to our bedtime routines!
